In addition to its extensive range of Ball, Diaphragm and Non-Return Valves, SAFI has developed a series of Butterfly Valves.

Available from 2" (DN50) to 24" (DN600), SAFI 'Wafer' type Butterfly Valves are of a solid construction with a symmetrical design and are suitable for use in both directions. For sizes from 2" (DN50) to 6" (DN150), the lever handle with ratchet hold can be set up in up to 15 positions for accurate operation and control. For 8" (DN200) and above, there is a hand wheel and reduction gearbox with a position indicator mounted on the top.

SAFI Butterfly Valves are pressure rated up to PN10 (10 bars) with DIN, BS or ASA configuration flanges with moulded-in bolt location holes to assist with installation in difficult locations.

To ensure compatibility, SAFI Butterfly Valves are available in PP, PVDF and PVC with a choice of EPDM or FPM seals.

For areas where product security or control is essential, SAFI Butterfly Valves can be fitted with a Tamperproof Locking System.

Available fitted with AC and DC Electric Actuators from 12v to 415v and Pneumatic Actuators with double acting or failsafe (spring return), all of which can be fitted with limit switch boxes, valve position indicators, solenoids, positioners and controllers.

All valves are 100% tested prior to despatch ready for installation.

Plastic and composite actuators are available for complete compatibility and increased corrosion resistance.
